Seeing the Future of NAFN: Built for What Comes Next

Designed around our members and team – Where People, Process and Platform come together

Our recent AGM and Conference marked an important milestone in our digital transformation journey. For the first time, members were able to see a real preview of what the new NAFN system — Project Argus — will look and feel like.

It was a moment to show how far we’ve come, and how central our members and team have been in helping to shape a platform that is easier, faster, smarter, clear and intuitive. With a planned early 2026 go-live, momentum is building fast.

Our Members are now seeing the future of NAFN

The preview gave our NAFN members a clear sense of what’s coming in our digital transformation: one connected space where every tool, every enquiry and every update sits together in a streamlined, modern and logical structure. And where automation and AI add to the speed and ease of every day working in the system.

It’s a welcome sight. A system designed to remove friction, reduce frustration and help people get started quickly, rather than feeling they need to “gear up” to use it.

Here is the kind of feedback that has been central to how we’ve reached this point, with members who’ve supported user testing saying:

Built From the Ground Up Around People and Real Use Cases

From the earliest stages, we focused on functionality first: what our members do every day, what slows them down, and what could work better.

We spoke with:

  • colleagues who rely on NAFN daily
  • occasional users who dip in for specific tasks
  • those with authorisation or oversight roles
  • and members who volunteered for hands-on testing throughout the build

Their input wasn’t treated as “nice to have.” It directly shaped the structure, logic and workflows of the new system.

This is exactly how we want the transformation to continue: collaborative, practical and grounded in everyday realities.

A Transformation Led by People, Shaped by Purpose

The new NAFN system isn’t just a technology upgrade. It’s a complete rethinking of how NAFN can support our members. And it’s exceptionally beneficial to add this important type of practical value; protect time and resources, and remove barriers that slow down critical work.

Transformation happens when people, process and platform come together – and that has been our guiding principle from day one.

We’ll continue sharing updates as Project Argus moves into the next phase. Thank you to every member who has contributed so far. Your insight is shaping a platform built around you, and built for the future.
